Mary Barber, MD has been a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery since 1995. While serving active duty in the US Air Force, her mentor and fellow dermatologist Lt Col Daniel Ingraham developed a melanoma which led to his untimely death at age 50. Since that time Dr. Barber has devoted her career to the diagnosis and treatment of all types of skin cancer. As of July 2019 she has performed over 24,000 Mohs Micrographic Surgeries. Casandra Ricci, ARNP has been serving the Marion County area since 2005. She started her career as a Registered Nurse working in the local hospitals. She received her Masters in Science of Nursing in 2009 from SUNY at Stony Brook NY. She has been seeing patients in Marion County since 2009 and we are very happy at The Skin Cancer Center of Centeral Florida to welcome her to our staff. She is proficient in diagnosing and treating skin cancer to include excising verified skin cancers. She also assists Dr Barber in the Mohs micrographic surgery procedure.
